Words Under Her Mask

A project she projects to be personal. Speaking about something she herself experiences on a daily.

"False, it will not be grievances. She refuses to allow art to only speak sadness. What if sadness pays the price to attend? That would be a different story. The mask covers her mouth but many forgot the dazzling self of hers is what voices the most: the unapologetic gesture, glare of innocence and hesitance; however, the described character seems to unfitting of her.. Desk is what she joys to have near and ear is what she demands to dance with."

Words spoken, swallowed

New month, same old mouth. little changed, lips still zipped; however, her mind is like a fish maneuvering freely without worry in the sea. Happily, the mask gets put on as she practices speaking in front of the mirror…

Congratulation.jpg

 Words listened, cold-shoulder

Excited, words blabbered non-stop. Pupils, darted from place to place as “uninteresting” walk in. “uninteresting” takes in the form of a woman: wrinkles with depth, dress of taste, and eye of happiness.

Words reflected, damaged

Raining, but drops land in locations of difficult pick up; and tongue, extended for others to examine the tastebuds. She is a lost soul; lost in the river, and driftwood is where thoughts of her land.

Resentment.jpg

Words almost, “she said”

A conference with no participants- aggravating, chairs with rollers park in places with hourly rate. She stands with knees tightly clamped together; and words, slip and slide like children’s playground.
